This painting is completed or close to it. The challenge has been mostly what I could get away with leaving out. This painting is a move away from photorealism. The canvas is 15 oz, the weave was just too coarse for much fine detail. This may have been fortunate in that it was a help in moving me in a new direction. Lately I have become interested in cartooning, and graphic works so I am sure the paintings will reflect that.
