Very little painting time, as we are still getting ourselves sorted to move to another town. But some work has been done, like the gas pipe, and now starting on the ripped tatty pamphlets. Though I initially draw out the image by projecting onto the canvas with a digital projector. Those drawing only indicates the general shapes and proportions, the detail still has to be measured and redrawn on the canvas. I use every trick I can. I have the image on my iMac the same size as the canvas drawing. I use dividers to measure, make stencils if I have to, and even then it comes down to eyeballing the shapes of various details. That is my general process. I shall have more news next week.
