I am painting again

Summer holidays are now just a memory. I didn’t take holidays as such, I just stopped painting for a while. I made eight new canvas stretchers ready for the new year. I had some family relaxing time too.

I have been painting in the last few weeks, you can see my messy table below as evidence. I will clean now clean up and set everything in the right place. I do not like working in a grotty environment. I like everything lined up in correct colour order. I like a nice view out the window, it suits my temperament. The view from the window is a bird bath with sparrows, blackbirds and waxeyes. I like to look at them with binoculars. Simple pleasures are the best. I also have an armchair to sit in for cups of tea. Anyway enough of that, here are some photos including the first painting of 2017.

My table gets a little messy towards the finishing line.
