We are now on the the other sider of the big move

I said I would be back in a week with more news but it has been three weeks, the move was a much larger task then I anticipated. Hilary and I have moved to Masterton, a town in the Wairarapa with a population of around 23,000 people. The climate so far seems very much kinder than Wellington, in the twelve days here each day has been mostly still, and quite hot in the mid 20’s and this is now autumn. I have been told it is somewhat fresh in the winter and the occasional year there is snow on the ground. Plenty to look forward to. So in the mean time there has been no painting. It has taken us a week to pack up the 95 square metre apartment, and almost two weeks to set up the 190 square metre house. There is also a large garden that I have to gain control over. I am about to start painting again, here is a panorama photograph of my new studio.
